Smashed Hard. No Shortcuts. No Apologies.

Studio City's go-to spot for real smash burgers that earn every five-star review on Lankershim.

About Us

The beef hits hot steel and stays there. That's the whole philosophy at Easy Street Burgers, and 1,291 reviews averaging 4.4 stars say it works. Regulars on Lankershim Blvd know the drill: no foam, no gimmicks, just a proper smash that locks in a crust you can hear before you even bite.

The menu moves fast but the flavors don't cut corners. The Jalapeño Bomber has regulars calling it the best burger they've ever eaten, full stop. The Double Jalapeño Monster with bacon and Cajun fries is the kind of order that turns a lunch into a story you tell at dinner. Staff like Gerardo and David treat first-timers like they've been coming in for years.

This is Lankershim's answer to the question every Studio City local eventually asks: where do you get a burger that actually delivers? Easy Street has been answering it one smash at a time.

What We Offer

The lineup at Easy Street Burgers is built around the smash technique: thin, crispy-edged patties pressed onto a screaming-hot flat top until the crust forms on its own. Order the Number 1 if you want to understand the baseline. Order the Number 3 if you want to understand why people come back twice in a week.

Customize any burger with bacon, extra patties, or a heat upgrade. The Cajun fries are a side order that stops being a side order after the first bite. Everything comes out fast without tasting like it was rushed, which is the whole point of doing smash right.

Dine in at the Studio City location or grab it to go for a quick lunch on the Valley side of the hill. Either way, the beef does the talking.

"This was my first time eating at Easy Street Burgers,Amazin experience with excellent service. Perfect staff selection, Gerardo and David were very welcoming that went above and beyond my expectations. Ensuring that my order was exactly as i described. The fries were very well seasoned and the dipping sauce made the prefect combination. The Burger was cooked just right with the right seasoning on the beef. I love spicy so they added fresh diced jalapeños with some diced onions and bacon. Exactly what I was craving for. I didn't see any flaws, the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. Supper clean tables floors and the soda machine was spotless clean no clogged up ice. I will definitely come back . Thank you so much Gerardo for the Extra dipping sauce I loved it ."

"No foam. No nonsense. Just beef smashed hard onto hot steel. I got the Number 1. My friend went straight for the Number 3 — the Double Jalapeño Monster — plus bacon and Cajun fries. It already comes loaded with jalapeños, and they don’t hold back. Heat, smoke from the bacon, molten cheese, crispy-edged patties that crackle when you bite in. It’s messy in the way a proper burger should be. The wild sauce is mandatory. We dipped fries in it like it was part of the contract — tangy, a little heat, completely addictive. Madison took care of us and steered us right. Friendly, sharp, dialed in. Best smash burgers we’ve ever had. No exaggeration."

"This was the best burger I have ever eaten in my life. I had the Jalapeno Bomber, and it was simply a top, top, top burger — perfectly made and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves great burgers. The staff were also extremely nice, very polite, and provided excellent service. Truly a place worth visiting if you want high-quality burgers."

"Totally worth the hype! This burger spot made it into my top 5 best burgers I’ve ever had. I ate there and saw a lot of people coming and going, so be prepared to wait, but they’re pretty quick. The bun, the meat (great quality and well seasoned) and the jalapeños make a great combination, and the fries are awesome too. Perfect place to enjoy a good meal on cheat days. I’ll definitely be back!"

"4.2/5 Don't go out of your way, I recently visited Easy Street Burgers and had mixed feelings about my experience. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, with a vibrant vibe perfect for a quick bite. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring prompt service despite the busy crowd. I ordered their classic burger, and visually, it was a stunner—fresh toppings, a glossy bun, and a perfectly cooked patty. The burger was cooked exactly to my liking, with a juicy, medium-well finish that was spot-on. The beef was high-quality, tender, and had a nice char from the grill. However, the seasoning fell flat. It lacked the bold flavors I expected to elevate the beef’s natural richness. A pinch more salt, pepper, or perhaps a signature spice blend could have transformed the experience from good to great. The toppings—crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and melty cheese—were fresh, and the bun held up well, but the underseasoned patty left me wanting more depth. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, a highlight of the meal. Overall, Easy Street Burgers delivers a solid experience, but tweaking the burger’s seasoning could make it unforgettable. Hoping for a bolder beef flavor next time."

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a smash burger and why does it taste different?

A smash burger is made by pressing a ball of beef flat onto a very hot cooking surface. The high heat and direct contact create a browned, crispy crust through the Maillard reaction. That crust is what makes the flavor noticeably different from a thick, steamed patty.

What is the most popular item on the menu?

The Jalapeño Bomber consistently draws the highest praise, with multiple reviewers calling it the best burger they have ever eaten. The Number 3 Double Jalapeño Monster with bacon and Cajun fries is also a top order for customers who want to go all in.

Where is Easy Street Burgers located?

Easy Street Burgers is at 4143 Lankershim Blvd in Studio City, CA 91602, on the main commercial stretch of Lankershim in the San Fernando Valley.

Is Easy Street Burgers good for a quick lunch?

Yes. The smash format cooks fast by design, so turnaround times are quick without sacrificing quality. It works well for a lunch break or a fast weeknight dinner.

Can I customize my burger?

Absolutely. You can add bacon, extra patties, jalapeños, and other toppings to build the burger you want. The staff are known for being accommodating and helpful with modifications.

Are the fries worth ordering?

The Cajun fries have become nearly as talked-about as the burgers themselves. Multiple reviewers specifically call them out as a must-order alongside any burger on the menu.

Does Easy Street Burgers have a website for the full menu?
